Tracker consent guide

Draft, pending legal review. This guide is not legal advice.

What the tracker stores and sends

The Adjira tracker sets a first party visitor identifier and sends page and interaction events to your Adjira workspace.

Recommended setup for visitors in the EU, EEA, and UK

Start the tracker in pending mode and tell it the visitor's choice once you have it.

adjira('consent', 'granted');
adjira('consent', 'denied');

Google Consent Mode v2 through Google Tag Manager

Create a tag that runs adjira('consent', 'granted') when analytics_storage is granted and adjira('consent', 'denied') otherwise.

OneTrust, Cookiebot, Usercentrics, and Complianz

Each of these fires a callback when the visitor decides. In that callback call adjira('consent', 'granted') or adjira('consent', 'denied').

Global Privacy Control

Treat a browser that sends Global Privacy Control as a refusal and call adjira('consent', 'denied').
